What is Bioretention Soil Media?
Bioretention is the process of utilizing engineered soil mix (filter media) and surface cover (plants)
to remove contaminants and excess nutrients from storm water runoff.

Our standard Bio-retention Soil Mix (filter media) is formulated, mixed and tested to meet Virginia DEQ Bio-retention Soil Media Requirements, version 2.0.

LEED Credit Consideration (for locally & regionally sourced & manufactured materials) - All components are sourced within ~60-75 mile radius of Bristow, VA 20136, where the Bio-Mix is produced.

Delivery: $80.00 / Cubic Yard (plus a delivery fee)

Soil Analysis (Mehlich 3) and Texture Analysis performed by Waypoint Analytical (formerly A&L Eastern Laboratories). Sand Composition (Sieve Test) is performed by sand vendor. Complete Soil Analysis Report available for approval process, upon request.

Delivery price is for locations within 25 miles of our production yard (over 25 miles will incur additional delivery charges), and for orders of 10+ cubic yards (call for delivery pricing under 10 cubic yards).
